Chicken Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta

  • 2 chicken breasts

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3 tablespoons butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook Pasta: Boil a large pot of salted water and cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside

  2. Cook Chicken: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove and slice

  3. Make Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add Parmesan cheese and whisk until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper

  4. Combine: Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the sauce, tossing to coat

  5. Serve: Garnish with parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired
